Gazprom

The Russian gas concern GAZPROM is the main owner of the Kaunas Heat and Power Plant (KHPP) and has 99.5 per cent of KHPP shares. GAZPROM is the biggest supplier of natural gas in the world. It extracts gas in Russia and supplies it to almost all countries of Middle and East Europe. GAZPROM also owns the longest gaspipe network in the world stretching out for 150 thousand kilometers. The Russian concern was established in 1989 and employs more than 436 thousand workers.

Kauno energija

The stock company AB KAUNO ENERGIJA is the main supplier of heat and steam for the Kaunas city and district of Jurbarkas. The Kaunas Heat and Power Plant, upon signature of the contract with KAUNO ENERGIJA in 2003, committed itself to supply heat to the latter. KAUNO ENERGIJA is a member to the Lithuanian Heat Suppliers Association, Lithuanian Electric Energetics Association and Kaunas Land Industrialists and Employers Association.

Litgrid

 

Litgrid is the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator managing electricity flows in Lithuania and maintaining stable operation of the national electricity system. Litgrid is also in charge of the integration and development of the electricity market of Lithuania as well as the operation and development of the electricity transmission grid – strategic projects of electricity interconnections with Sweden and Poland, which will ensure energy independence of Lithuania.  

 

Lietuvos dujos

The stock company AB LIETUVOS DUJOS imports and distributes natural gas. The company ensures the development of gas market, as well as renders services related to consumption of natural gas. LIETUVOS DUJOS, as a stock company, is registered in 1995. The company took over and continues the business of natural gas since 1961.

LESTO

AB LESTO (LESTO) is Lithuanian distribution network operator.

The Company was established through reorganisation of the public limited liability distribution network companies Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai (RST) and VST by means of merger.
Operating on the basis of the two companies that have ceased to exist, LESTO has taken over the assets, entitlements and obligations of both companies. RST and VST have ceased their activities as legal persons. LESTO has taken over all RST and VST long-term and short-term assets, as well as long-term and short-term financial and other obligations, receivable and payable accounts according to RST and VST contracts or on the basis of other arising liabilities. 

Energy  Systems Service

The private company UAB ENERGY SYSTEMS SERVICE operates one of the biggest heat and power plants in Lithuania. i.e. the Kaunas Heat and Power Plant. The main activities of the company is to render services of management to the energetic objects (electric power plants, electric power distributing units) ensuring reliable production of electric power and heat of quality, economical use of equipment and energy resources, as well as appropriate technological control of equipment. Since July, 2006 the ENERGY SYSTEMS SERVICE together with the Kaunas Heat and Power Plant started operating the Petrašiūnai Power Plant. That enabled to increase the volumes of heat production for the city.

UAB AVENIRE is one of the public relations agencies demonstrating rapid growth over the recent years. Over four years of its activity the Agency has accumulated sufficient experience in working with customers from energy, finance, telecommunications, production, trading and pharmacy sectors. Currently, AVENIRE provides integrated communication services to more than 30 Lithuanian and foreign companies, Kaunas Heat and Power Plant among them. The package of services, offered by the Agency, covers creation and implementation of corporate communication strategies and tactics, crisis management and preventions, media contacts, training, etc.
