The Kaunas Heat and Power Plant (KHPP) is a thermoelectric power station.
It is the main supplier of heat and electric power to the Kaunas inhabitants. From it not only heat, but also electric power reaches the dwellings of Kaunas. KHPP strives to become the most innovative, most reliable and socially most responsible heat supplier in Lithuania. After modernization, which already started in the plant, KHPP will be the up-to-date heat and power plants in East Europe.
Vision– to modernize the Kaunas Heat and Power Plant and for this purpose to build a new heat and power plant of gas turbines and combined cycle. The enterprise strives to be the best and most reliable supplier of heat energy services in the Kaunas city.
Mission– the Kaunas Heat and Power Plant commits itself to ensure the reliable and qualitative production of heat and electric power and its supply to the Kaunas city and other consumers of Lithuania.
Currently, KHPP's production to Kaunas Region equals to around 95% of heat
